888 just updated and hud dont start now

888 support for PT4 is once again broken, 888 released yet another update yesterday making the majority of my post above a moot point. We are working to release a new fix for PT4 as soon as we can, but it is possible that 888 releases yet another change that breaks PT4 before we get to roll these changes down to PT3. This is of course out of our control, there is nothing we can do if that occurs.

I hope we'll have a new PT4 release out later today if all goes well.

Here's another customer who doesn't want to use PT4. I've bought it and looked hard at it. PT 3 suits my needs far better. So PT4 is sitting on my hard drive doing nothing. PT3 is sitting on my desktop, but showing me no HUD on 888. I'm very disappointed in PT.

I will make sure to post in this thread when a new PT3 beta is available. Also when you open PT3 if you're on our current beta (which I hope you are) it will notify you when a new beta is available - the next beta (whenever it comes out) will have a fix for this.

If you create a new thread to discuss this topic and explain why PT3 suits your needs better, we will be happy to respond and show you the differences between the two app versions. We want our users to be happy and educated on their decisions, we don't mind if you made this decision, its your choice, but we do want to help to make sure your educated on the facts so you can make the best possible decision for yourself.

Thanks, StevenM. As you will see, I have accepted your invitation and opened a new thread on the PT4 forum. BTW I entirely accept that PT can do no more than respond to changes made by site operators. I make no criticism of the fact that the 888 change and its impact was not (could not have been) foreseen and entirely trust PT to bring forward a patch to fix the problem as soon as that can be done. That will take the time it takes and plainly is better done more slowly but well and safely than rushed.
