unable to login to database

this occured to me before but went away after 3 days even tho i didnt do anything. not its the same error again and not leaving.

what can i do about it? i use pt4 on windows 8 everything is up the latest versions i thought (postgre etc...)

coulndt find help in the forum...

Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Find PostgreSQL in the list - is the service running, if not, can you start it? The service not running is the most common reason for that kind of error.

thanks a lot: i had 9.2 running instead of 9.0. its working with 9.0. not with 9.2?

9.2 is not supported; we have had reports of import failing to work and crashing in that version.
