i do have, i also have pt, (Had it for a long time) suddenly it decided 2 stop working. tried so many things now so no longer sure whats downloaded or not :evil: .
however tried your sugeestion but it says its unable 2 conect 2 this database, so i try 2 download it again, and get the message 2 use the main msifile?????????????.

Do you have PostgreSQL in your start menu? Do you see it on the list of programs installed in Control Panel?

i used 2 but not now. so when i try 2 download it again i get asked for password and thats where i stand now, no passwords working

It sounds like you either have a partial postgres installation, or if HEM is working then you may be a victim of the issue discussed in this thread. If HEM is working you need to read this thread!

If HEM is not working either then you can reinstall postgres as described in the appropriate How to reinstall PostgreSQL guide in the Documentation.

It sounds as if you have the problem caused by HEM's installer, as discussed in the thread I linked.

If you can't get things sorted then please schedule a remote assistance session where someone can logon to your computer with you and directly troubleshoot/resolve the issue.
