Configuring PostgreSQL Database

Postby Didzer » Wed Dec 17, 2008 4:20 pm

Hi!

I just bought and installed PT, so the PostgreSQL database information should be correct. Now, when I'm trying to create the PT3 database, I get this message: Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 DB Reason: Unable to execute query: CREATE DATABASE "PT3 DB" WITH TEMPLATE = template0 ENCODING = 'SQL_ASCII';; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: database "PT3 DB" already exists ).

Can someone help me out??

Thanks in advance!

Check the "This Database Already Exists" box to reconnect to a database that was already created.

In the new database window there should be a small box that says "This Database Already Exists". If you check it, PT3 will just ocnnect to the DB and not try to recreate it.

The error message you're getting says the database already exists, so recreating it is going to fail.

ok, ty! I'll try that.

One more Q, I need to have pokertracker 2, since that one is supporting BetFair. WHere can I find that? It was included for free in PT3 wasnt it?
EDIT: It worked!

Now I need to get PT2 working, because I'm playing at betfair. I downloaded it, but how do I know that I'm not just using the 30 trial days now? I bought PT3 today so I want to have PT2 as well. What do I do to get PT2 to last forever?
