Service doesn't start

Hi everybody,
i have just installed a couple of programs,among them McAfee 2010, and now the service "PostgreSQL database server" can't be started.
Any idea?
I wouldn't like to deinstall all the programs, perhaps something to adjust in McAfee?

Does it give an error when you try to start it? Have you followed our Firewall Troubleshooting Guide?
