I'm dumb.

Wanted to try free trial for holdem manager. when i installed their product, was asked to re-install postgresql and so I did.

Now, I've realized my PT3 database is nowhere to be found. A very, very large db that I don't feel like taking forever to re-import.

Is what I've done reversible??

OK, this is silly.

When I installed PT3 the first time it was totally smooth and postgressql just automatically appeared and was configured properly. I realize I've totally buggered it up and I'm ok with the knowledge that I likely have to re-import my entire database.

However, no matter what I do - I can't get it to load at all. I've tried un-installing everything (PT3 and postgresql) and still it won't work.

A seem to be able to get it to where it asks me for a password, but after that nothing works. I tried running the command prompt but that didn't reset anything

shouldn't a full un-install just roll me back to being a new user and start fresh??

I fixed it :D

I re-ran the command prompt and it worked the second time (guess i did it wrong the first time). Then I unchecheked the box that said "initialize database cluster"

and viola - all fixed!

and my database is still there :lol:
