How do I delete my database?

I've moved up significantly in stakes and no longer want my data from the small stakes on my computer. every time I try to purge my database, pokertracker freezes up. how do i solve these issues?

PT3 isn't frozen, it's just still working; purging can take several hours or more depending on the size of your database.

If you want to delete a database entirely you can do it via the Database Management window's Delete button - but be advised that deleting a database in this fashion is permanent and the only way to get the data back would be to create a new database and reimport the old hand histories.

My suggestion would be to create a new database for your new hands and keep the old database for reference. You don't need to use it in PT3, but you would still have the option to use it in the HUD for opponent stats if you want.
