problem installing PostgreSQL

Hello,

I have the following problem after:

- downloading postgresql-8.3.1-1.zip
- and installing by klicking the postgresql-8.3.msi file
- I go through the service installation
- but then the initialise database cluster gives me the following error:

the message it gives is:

failed to open Secondary Logon service. (in Dutch) the given/selected service is not an installed service.

my OS is Windows XP SP2.

I have read the FAQ of the site but could not find an answer.

I you have have any suggestion, please let me know.

installing PT3 with postgreSQL worked so my question is not relevant anymore.
I don't know why that works and stand alone prog didn't.
