pc & laptop - 1 database?

is it possible to access a database i created on my pc from my laptop?

tried that without any success whiterider. i am not that computer literate although i am sure i followed the instructions to the letter. the postgre file would not let me save after entering the info provided. any ideas?

That sounds like a permissions issue.
Are you on Vista?
