Filter for "marked hands" OR "StatXYZ"

Postby andyco » Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:02 pm

Quick question -- I'd like to create a filter which selects hands which are ... Marked OR another Stat ...
(in example) ( ( a OR b ) AND c)
a) Hands which have been Marked for review
OR
b) Hands which I lost more than 10BBs
AND
c) Since 2/1/2011

I know how do do each of these separately (Date & Loss size in Top Level "Filters"; and Marked Hands in "Report Filter"),
but can't see an easy way to "OR" of the conditions in the Top Level "Filter" selection. I assume 'marked
for review' is not one of the Top Level conditions, is because of some quirk of how that dbase is set up?

Is the only way to create a complex SQL condition/expression inside of the "Report Filter"?

thanx in advance

Yes, in the blue filters link in your report you can use any SQL you would like - so AND and OR are valid there. So you can use:

(flg_note OR amt_won < -10 * holdem_limit.amt_bb) AND (date_played > '02-01-2011')

thanx kraada.

Got it.

I was hoping to use it at the "top" level filters, so i could review the selected hands
via the other top level tabs (Hands, Position, VsPlayer, ... ). thought i must have been
missing something obvious (since the top-level filter is otherwise incredibly robust and able to
slice and dice hands by so many other ways....)

thanx again.

You can get to those hands via the Simple Filters section - they can be used in conjunction with the manually entered filters but I believe they always AND together.
