Problem Downloading 1.19 Beta 5

Postby aceupmyslv » Wed Mar 05, 2008 1:37 am

I wanted to download the latest version of PAHDU which is 1.19 Beta 5. I have windows Vista. Once I get to the following screen:

[btyh]PokerAce Heads Up Dislay Setup[/btyh]

I get the following error:

[btyh]Error opening file for writing:[/btyh]

[btyh]C:\Program Files\PokerACe HUD\PAHud.exe

Click Abort to stop installation......[/btyh]

No matter what I click I cannot finish the installation. I have all programs closed when I try this except for Full Tilt Poker.

The reason I am downloading the newer version is because I am having problems before and after the FTP update with my HUD. Sometimes stats will appear as normal on the tables, but sometimes they will appear just above the window icon for the table in the taskbar. Vista has that window mini-preview option like Apple and the stats get stuck there instead of on the restored table.

I also have been getting an error message pop up randomly at any period during my use saying PAHud has an error and needs to close. Will this new upgrade (if I can get it properly istalled) fix these issues or do they need ot be addressed anyway?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

It sounds like PokerAce Hud is running therefore is preventing you from upgrading. Please see the [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=824pdw]Tutorial: How to Make Sure PAH is Not Running[/urlpdw]. You should then be able to upgrade.

PokerAce Hud should not be crashing. If after upgrading you still experience these problems, please reply back and we will troubleshoot further.

Best regards,
