Hello!!
I’m troubleshooting intermittent crashes of the Chico/TigerGaming client (GameClient.exe) on Windows 11 and want to rule out PT4 (HUD and/or Advanced Chico Converter) as a contributing factor.
System
Windows 11 Pro (Build 26100)
i7-14700K + Intel UHD 770 (iGPU)
Render modes tested: OpenGL / OpenGL_Software / D3D8 (crash occurs on all three)
Issue:
While playing (tables open), the client crashes. Event Viewer reports 0xC0000005 (Access Violation) in GameClient.exe.
Questions
Have you seen similar reports with Intel iGPUs (UHD 770 / Intel graphics drivers) and PT4’s Chico HUD?
Since the crash happens across all render modes, do you have any known PT4-side triggers on Chico (e.g., specific HUD elements, table recognition, hand history parsing, or the Advanced Chico Converter) that commonly correlate with client instability?
What is the best isolation procedure you recommend (exact HUD/converter toggles, admin vs non-admin, and any PT4 settings to temporarily disable)?
I can provide timestamps, PT4 logs, and crash dumps if you tell me which files/paths you need.
Thanks,
